The most important thing you wear is your smile

Love White Teeth

Tooth whitening, also known as teeth bleaching, is a cosmetic dental procedure aimed at lightening the colour of natural teeth and enhancing their appearance.

Love Enhanced Teeth

Composite bonding is most commonly used to repair a chipped, broken, or cracked tooth, as well as to build more shape onto a malformed, misaligned or stunted tooth.

Love Restored Teeth

White fillings, otherwise known as composite, consist of safe resins that are naturally tooth coloured, insoluble, easy to manipulate and safe.

Love Saving Teeth

Root therapy (aka root canal treatment) is a process in which the pulp of the tooth is removed due to damage and infection, and replaced with gutta-percha (a plant based thermoplastic).

Love Renewed Teeth

Crowns are used to restore teeth that are too broken down for white fillings , or to change the aesthetics of a tooth where a veneer may not be enough.

Love Helping Teeth

Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved, and an extraction is the best long term treatment.

Love Replacing Teeth

An implant is the next best thing to a natural tooth, and is used to replace missing teeth.

Love Rebuilding Teeth

A bridge is a very intelligent way of replacing missing teeth by using existing teeth on either side of the gap.

Love Prosthetic Teeth

Our dentures are state-of-the-art, comfortable and discreet. They are metal based or acrylic devices to replace missing teeth.

Love Straight Teeth

Cosmetic orthodontic treatment, also known as aesthetic orthodontic treatment, focuses on improving the appearance of the teeth and smile without necessarily addressing major functional or bite-related issues.

Love Smile Makeovers

Smile Makeovers with Love the Dentist improve the cosmetic appearance of your teeth to help you feel confident in your smile again.

Love Smooth Skin

Facial aesthetics refers to a branch of cosmetic medicine that focuses on enhancing the appearance and rejuvenating the face.

Love Relaxed Visits

Dental sedation is a way of making you feel more at ease during treatment, whilst still being conscious and able to talk with your dentist.

Love Weddings

Smile Makeovers with Love the Dentist improve the cosmetic appearance of your teeth to help you feel confident in your smile again.

‘The best smile is a healthy one’, ‘prevention is always better than cure’ and ‘you wouldn’t build a house on poor foundations’, are phrases you’ll hear a lot at Love the Dentist.

That’s because we truly believe the best starting point is a healthy mouth. The best way to achieve a healthy mouth is through regular oral health checks. By attending every 6-12 months, your dentist can detect early signs of decay, gum disease and mouth cancer. When spotted early, these issues can be dealt with effectively, with little time and expense required. The longer a problem is left, the cost, complexity and concerns can become larger.

During your oral health review, our dental professionals will carry out a full examination of your mouth, checking for any cavities along with any build up of tartar or plaque on your teeth. They will also perform a mouth cancer check of the soft tissues in your mouth, head, and neck for any bumps and any early signs.

Following this, our experienced dental professionals will carry out an inspection of your gums. After checking your gum health, a visit may be recommended with Sam, our skilled dental therapist, for treatments ranging from helping you to understand which parts of your mouth are being neglected in your at-home care routines to basic hygiene treatment (a scale and polish) or more advanced hygiene treatment, and stain removal.

If required, then you may find that our dental professional’s request x-rays are taken of your mouth. This is done so that any cavities between your teeth can be detected and rectified before they cause further problems in the future. We recommend simple x-rays every 2 years for most patients, but they may be advised more frequently for some. Your dentist will work closely with you to identify any problems with your teeth and gums and will be happy to discuss your treatment options with you.

We will also ask you about your dental needs and concerns so that we may craft a bespoke patient plan for you. Your dentist will happily talk you through the options best suited to you and provide insight into why these may be necessary to achieving your healthier, happier smile.

We care about the little teeth too. Routine visits to our dental practice are crucial for looking after your children’s teeth, maintaining good dental hygiene as their big teeth begin to come through, and instilling good dental habits and awareness that they will take through life as they grow up.

Our highly skilled, friendly hygiene therapist Sam will assess the condition of your mouth and gums whilst measuring the health of the soft tissues. She will then fully discuss your oral condition with you and help to develop a personalised daily oral care routine; if used appropriately this can help to lengthen the life of your teeth, improve the health of your gums and ultimately the length of your life!
