What do braces do?
Dental braces correct teeth that are crowded, crooked, protruding, out of alignment or have irregular spacing by moving the teeth into the ideal position.
How long before I get the straight smile?
By focusing primarily on the teeth that show when you smile and by using the latest technology and dental techniques you should expect to have it complete within 6 months.
Does it mean train tracks on my teeth?
Not anymore! Our systems use special clear ceramic braces and tooth-colored wires to gently straighten and align teeth.
Let’s talk about the pain factor!
The new systems we use are more comfortable than the traditional ones as they use low force to move the teeth.
I’ve heard they don’t work for everyone? How will I know if they suit me?
If you are an adult (over the age of 18) and do not have major issues with your bite, you are most likely suitable. However, the only way to find out is to schedule a consultation with a qualified dentist.
What should I expect to happen once I’m fitted for the brace?
Once you have your brace, then your dentist will provide a plan for you and arrange regular visits over the duration of the treatment period giving you the chance to check in on your progress.
What next?
I will provide you with a free consultation so we can talk options and work out if you will benefit from this type of treatment.
